I read this album surrounded by my two daughters, one 5-year non-reader and the other 8 year old who reads on her own but loves to listen to stories that are told to her little sister. First contact with the book: I leave Romane (small) browse all by focusing on the illustrations. His first fuse reflection: "Well then tell dad is not long." It is a Indeed, the album contains less than 25 pages and is written primarily for 2-3 years. But larger ones may also find their behalf. I am a first reading on a neutral tone, without differentiating between friendly intentions and tongues of the chickens and the much more interested and "Machiavellian" the cat. In closing the book, I ask myself Romane summarize the story. It took everything at face value.
