"Carlos", a series of successful French television last Sunday won the Golden Globe for Best miniseries or TV movie. This series of Olivier Assayas tells the story of Ilich Ramirez Sanchez, a terrorist who for two decades (between 1974 and 1994) was one of the most wanted terrorists in the world.
"Carlos" is a series more than five hours which was financed by Canal +, the series has been designed for television but also had great success in movies, a short version, after his selection at Cannes.
The Golden Globes ceremony was held yesterday, January 16 in Beverly Hills. Golden Globes (Golden Globe Awards) awards are presented each year by the Hollywood Foreign Press for best film, best fiction television and the best professional film and television. With 4 awards, "The Social Network" was the big winner of the 68th Golden Globes and becomes the favorite for the Oscars.
